Best Sporting Moment Ever?

Ripping the ball and running the full length of the pitch to score a try. It was at Wrexham in the Anglo-Welsh tournament last year.

Who is your Sporting Hero?

Lewis Moody. I really like his attitude and I try to play like him.

When did you start playing rugby?

When I was 8. It was after England won the world cup in 2003.

What do you want to do when you leave school / college?

I’d love to be a pro-Rugby player for Leicester Tigers.

What advice would you give to someone thinking about playing Rugby?

Just start playing. It’s so much better than football.

What do you think about Bridgnorth Rugby Club?

They are a very strong club but we need more players in the under 13’s.

How has Bridgnorth Rugby Club helped you develop into the player you are today?

Great coaching and great team mates. I’m a centre at the moment but I think I might move to flanker.

Favourite Band?

Pendulum at the moment.

Favourite Film?

War of the Worlds.

If you had to use one word to describe rugby what would it be?

Brilliant!

Coach’s Comment

Charlie started off as a winger because of his speed but now has developed an incredible ability for tackling and securing the ball. He is a very committed member of the team and I know he will continue to develop further.
